Pricing Details

A personalized comic makes a great gift for yourself or a friend or family member!

We would like to make a comic for you. About you, possibly. You might wonder how that all starts, how it works, how much it costs, all the details.

How much does all of this cost?  Well after doing this for awhile we’ve determined that this price structure works out best for everyone.

• Comics are available in any number of cells.

• Optional framing and matting prices will depend on the number of cells and type of frame chosen.

• Shipping and handling will apply to all orders.

We are now giving free prints to our guests who order a Personal Comic Strip! Panel size comics 1, 2, and 3 will get a free print up to 12×12 inches. For those that are going to order a 4, 5 and 6 panel comic strip, will receive a print up to 24×24 inches. Shipping and handling is still extra but we are happy to say that we are able to offer more for our guests, by giving them a free print when they order a Custom Comic Strip.

We break down comics into two categories, Personal Comics (PC)(Comics that we create for individuals that they are going to hang up or put in a book, etc…) and Business Comics (BC) (Comics purchased by a business to help promote themselves or their business)

If as we go through the process we change things up a bit for you such as redrawing a panel or altering the text, we do charge a small fee dependent on the changes happening. This just helps us finish up your comic and get it to you as soon as possible. If after you see the initial sketch and you want to make some changes, we won’t be charging you that first time. Hey, we’re not perfect and we might not clearly understand your vision of your comic right away. However if we have gone through some revision we find that we need to be honest with ourselves with the time that we invest into your comic.

So if we are making major changes, such as redrawing an entire panel, we charge $20 per panel at any stage of the process except the initial sketch. If we make minor changes, such as altering text or colors, we only charge $7 per type of change throughout. For example if your comic features a character named Mary and she is wearing a purple sweater throughout the entire strip and you would like it to be blue instead, well that’s really only a color change. Once art has been started there are no refunds.

Of course some of these things can be subjective, so please feel free to talk to us about what you want and we will always do our best to be fair and upfront with you.

What we need from you:

First off you have to tell us a little bit about the comic you would like to see.

What sort of style is it drawn in?

What characters do you have?

What are they saying? (If they’re saying anything)

What are they doing?

What does the scene look like?

We’ll be happy to ad-lib details you’re not sure about, and happy to discuss details with you if you would like.

Sort of prod your brain a little.

How long does it take?

On average it takes 3 to 4 weeks for the art. 2 additional weeks if a print is ordered. 1 to 2 additional weeks for shipping if a print is ordered.

We also need to know, if you’d like a black and white or color strip, and how many frames (or cells) you want.

In order to get this ball rolling just send us an email with whatever you can think of that we talked about up above, and other details such as your name and how soon you need your comic. If you would like us to call you, let us know where we can reach you, and when you’re ready, send us an address we can ship your order to.
